MEET DR. HILL

MEET TRAVIS HILL, MD, PhD

Dr. Hill is the newest member of Dr. Shen’s team at Shen Spine. He is a board-eligible neurological surgeon who obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, in 2007, his Neuroscience Ph.D. in 2013 at the University of California, Davis, and his MD at New York University in 2016. He completed residency in neurological surgery at New York University in 2023, followed by a fellowship in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery at the University of Washington.

Dr. Hill specializes in treating conditions of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine, including spondylosis, stenosis, radiculopathies, and myelopathy.  When surgical intervention is necessary, his goal is to provide his patients with the least-invasive surgery possible to address their problem.  He has extensive experience with endoscopic approaches to the spine and believes that, for suitable pathology, there is no better choice. He joined the Shen Spine team so that he could continue to focus on providing his patients with the best spine care possible through use of the most minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Dr. Hill has membership with the North American Spine Society and the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.
